Traditionally worn by the Miao Hmong women of Southern China and Northern Laos to protect the community from evil spirits and bring good luck.
Five independent rings with dragons and phoenixes on the front of each ring. The rings lay upon each other majestically, forming a breastplate in the front.
Brought back from a Miao village while living there last fall.
The metal is a mixture of silver and brass.
Closes easily with an adjustable clasp in the back.
The inner circumference is about 15" (38 cm)
