Set of three fancy rooster framed prints signed Mid hc3355

This is a set of three framed rooster prints that will display well in a vintage or country kitchen or other casually decorated room.

The prints are not matted. What looks like a decorative mat is actually part of the print. It is tan with brown oak leaves with acorns painted on it. The flamboyant roosters are all shown against a slightly turquoise background with a few flowers and blades of grass at the birds' feet. The pictures are all signed Mid, a name I have not found anywhere on the internet.

The frames are fake wood burnished in gold so look very expensive. I would guess that the medium of the original art work was gouache or water color.

I know nothing about roosters so cannot tell you what kind they are. To me they are fancy birds looking proud and arrogant as roosters are known to be.

Outside dimensions are 10 x 12 inches.

Condition is as new although going by the labels on the back they are vintage as the particular store of origin went out of business a long time ago.
