My parents have always loved to travel. They didn't buy their first house until they were in their 70's, preferring to spend their money to see other countries!!
My mother bought this Kanadou Creation France ceramic duck in the France in the early 1970’s.
The duck is a rich, multi glazed deep blood red with marbled black/deep burgundy through the body. The beak, head, neck, wings and back tail feathers are contoured in color with black/deep burgundy. There is a rich depth to the glaze.
It is a gorgeous piece of “art”!
