Mike is a little boy who just realized that he could think many new thoughts all by himself. The following story is about one of his thoughts.
The story flows easily off the pages of the book as it is written in poetry form. Each page is beautifully illustrated in pencil drawings, to enhance the theme of the shadow and his boy.
Children and adults alike enjoy the story and flow of the poetry.
The following is a passage from the book, used by the author's permission.
"One day while playing, I sat down to think. I started thinking a thought that I thought I could think. While thinking this thought, that I thought I could think, I wondered if others had the same thought to think!
The thought that I thought, while I sat there thinking, was the thought of "what is my shadow thinking?"
The story follows Mike as he contemplates tricking his shadow, to find out 'its' reaction, naming his shadow and the ending fit for every bookshelf...but we won't give that away!
FIRST BONUS:
The sequel to the story! Flip the book and read about the
"Adventures of Tim and Mike, a shadow and his boy"
SO that means: you get both stories for one great price!!
The sequel book is about Tim, Mike's shadow and his perspective on life.
