The skin of the pig is flayed. Then, a special treatment is applied to shape the skin as a shoe. The shoe is durable and strong. Used for centuries. These were the common footwear in the rural side of the country. Poor people had to cope with the poverty. The lack of money and education lead to this - Making shoes from the pigs skin. Pity. Never used, so could be called New ( Very ) Old Stock ;) You could see the bristle inside the shoe. Shoelaces also handmade. In Bulgarian the word is ЦЪРВУЛ - TSARVUL .
