It has a sleek, modernist design with a Panaplex-style gas discharge orange lighted display. Simple, no frills keyboard gives you only the basics for quick calculations. The addition and subtraction buttons are curiously separated from the multiplication and division buttons. You can choose up to four decimal places with the manual switch in the upper right corner. There is no comma display on the screen, but the Unitrex 1200 is designed with a little black plastic slider beneath the screen, so you can manually adjust comma spaces after setting your decimal place. For such a "simple" machine, the Unitrex 1200 is full of electronic components and equipped with a Mostek chip. It runs on AC power only, original cord is included. It measures approximately 10 inches x 7.5 inches x 2.25 inches. This Unitrex 1200 has been well taken care of and is in very good condition.
