A decent port of the arcade original, Super Hang-On is an above average racer with excellent music. The soundtrack is truly outstanding and adds a lot of charm to the game.
Another superb feature of the game is the Original Mode that's unique to the Sega Genesis release. In Original Mode, you have a sponsor, rival and mechanic and earn money in races. You can upgrade your motorbike in 6 different areas and your parts will wear out over time. Win 5 races and you'll get a new, more generous sponsor, a better rival and a more difficult track to race on.
