This exquisite flowers and vines pattern was adapted from an elaborate colored plate (plate 26) found in an original volum of Examples of Chinese Ornament by Owen Jones, published in London, 1867. Jones work is credited with introducing Europeans to rare and then-unfamiliar nineteenth century English carpets, furniture, textiles and wallpapers.

Long out of production, this highest quality vintage Winterthur Museum circa 1991 design is a beautiful way to present your needleartistry as elegant and usable art.
