Here is a rare, vintage (1991/1992)a bit faded black or dark navy, pre-worn T-Shirt, size Medium (read measurements below) that has a line drawing silk-screened in white on the front of the T-Shirt of a dog’s head---(specifically a Weimeraner?) On the back of the T-Shirt in white it says: Wegman’s World Walker Art Center. The T-Shirt measures 21 inches across the chest measured under the arms and from the back of the neck band to the bottom hem is 28 inches making it a comfortable size Medium or TIGHT size Large so please know your size! Older T-Shirt—neck tag says it is a size Large (old school size because it is over 30 years old!) and 100% cotton with a Fruit of the Loom Made in the USA Tag! No holes or stains---just a little bit of discoloration, but minimal and I think the T-Shirt was originally black--but not positive. Thanks for checking!

William Wegman was born in 1943 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He received a B.F.A. in painting from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston in 1965 and an M.F.A. in painting from the University of Illinois, Champagne-Urbana in 1967.

Numerous retrospectives of Wegman’s work have been made among them Wegman’s World, which opened at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis in 1981 and toured the United States. Though initially trained as a painter, William Wegman is best known for his conceptually-driven photographs and videos featuring dogs—specifically the Weimeraner After adopting a Weimeraner named Man Ray in the early 1970s, he embarked on what he describes as a "long and fruitful collaboration" with the canine, featuring his dog in humorous, often contrived scenarios. After Man Ray's death, Wegman's second dog, Fay Ray, and her offspring became the central characters in his work.
