The HSA3095 Yale Control Panel Battery comes in two variations; the standard issue NiCD 600mAh model, and the Extended Life NiMH 2000mAh battery offering over 3 times more alarm battery backup duration and lifespan. Yale recommend replacing the orginal NiCD 600mAh every 3 years.

Did you know?: The original 600mA Yale control panel battery must be replaced every 3 years? Depending on your control panel model, it may not inform you of a low CU (control unit) battery. To check your battery's life simply disconnect or unplug your control panel from the mains socket. If your battery powers the control panel for less than 30 minutes, the battery should be replaced asap. All batteries are available, please see my other listings for details.

In the even of a power cut, a depleted control panel battery will cause the siren bell box to sound. The Extended Life battery will offer 8 years life before needing to be replaced. If your control panel is beeping, it may be a sign that a new battery is required.
