It took TEN years for their professional team of licensed stylists and cosmetic chemists to perfect this product. It far surpasses the quality of all other salon protein treatments. Directions:


1.Mix 1/2 capful (or full cap for x-long hair) of Pure Protein in a cup or bowl with enough of your favorite conditioner to cover your hair (about 2 ounces, or a "palmful"). Any brand of conditioner will work, but it’s recommend to use a moisturizing conditioner if you wish to achieve more of a silky feeling afterward. Set mixture aside.


2.Wash your hair twice with a clarifying shampoo to remove all buildup. The hair shaft should be squeaky clean and completely free of any styling product/conditioner buildup or body oils so the protein can properly adhere. After washing, towel dry lightly to remove any dripping water.


3.Apply protein/conditioner mixture to hair. Comb through until evenly distributed. Leave on hair for 10-30 minutes (longer is better, but don't exceed 40 minutes). Rinse with warm water when time is up. Do not wash hair again until the next day.



4.After application, blow your hair dry completely. For best results, use a brush to smooth and style hair while it is drying (to smooth down frizzies and split ends). This will not straighten hair, but styling hair immediately after the treatment will help set a temporary “memory” and make styling easier for the next 2 weeks. You can also use a straightening or curling iron to style hair once dried.

HOW OFTEN TO USE: Do not use more than once every 14 days. For extremely damaged hair, you can do a treatment once a week, but it is recommended to do this only for the first couple of weeks, then switch to the recommended twice per month.





TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS: Remember to use a clarifying shampoo as a pre-treatment. Buildup on hair will prevent the protein from penetrating. To maintain results, wash with a gentle shampoo, such as those for colored hair. And condition hair often. Waxy-type conditioners or hair masks labeled as "moisturizing" work best. If your hair starts to feel dry or stiff, you may be using too much protein or using it too often - or, just not enough moisture. Remember, less is more with this product, it is a professional strength and very potent! In the event of a “protein overload” (for example, if treatments are done too often) apply a moisture conditioner for 3-4 days in a row, or as needed until desired results. As a pre-treatment before coloring or chemical straightening/perms, apply Pure Protein 24-48 hours prior to the treatment. For those who receive keratin straightening treatments: Use this 1 week before you get your straightening treatment to help protect hair shaft from the damage caused by the super-hot irons that are used to “cure” the product. High heat will wreck your hair, and this will provide supurb protection. After a keratin straightening treatment though, wait at least 2 months before using Babyface Pure Protein or any other protein treatment.
