1974 - Ninth Annual M.W.N.A. Convention Souvenir Wooden Dollar - Washington, DC

Description: Interesting old inflation-adjusted Wooden Dollar version of the traditional "Wooden Nickel". It was issued for the Ninth Annual Metropolitan Washington Numismatic Association (M.W.N.A.) Convention, held at the Sheraton Motor Inn in New Carrollton, Maryland, from July 12-14, 1974. The obverse (?) bears an image of the dome of the Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

The actual size of the token is approximately 2" in diameter and about an eighth of an inch thick.

It seems to be in pretty good shape, with just some slight wear to the printing. (Please see scans.)
