After Pandu's wife gives Shruthi's number to Pandu and asks him to convey that Karthik, a miscommunication between Karthik and Pandu leads to Karthik calling Shravani (Nithya Menen). Karthik mistakes Shravani for Shruthi and talks to her over the phone. Unbeknownst to him, Shravani knows who Karthik is and develops an interest towards him. A series of events clears Karthik's confusion and everything is revealed. Meanwhile Karthik helps his friend Madhu in gaining a girl's attention, who is none other than Shruthi. Shruthi falls for Madhu. A series of comedies lead to Madhu doubting Shruthi and their relationship is at stake. Meanwhile, Shravani plans to avenge the deception and pain that Karthik put her through. She gains employment as Karthik's boss and decides to put him through the same hardships. However, towards the end, Karthik wants to propose to Shravani and Shravani is ready to reject his proposal to avenge her pain. Just before he proposes, Karthik realizes he is truly in love with his phone friend Shravani and runs to her house to plead her forgiveness. There he sees Shravani and both unite with a hug.
