An interesting dresser scarf or table runner made of white linen with cross-stitch embroidery that forms a floral border on all four sides. The runner has a center cross-stitched feature of two red birds on leafy limbs. The birds are facing each other to form a mirror image.
The hem of the runner is 1 inch deep and finished with threadwork and tailored corners.
Condition is very good. There are a couple of very light and small spots on it that have not been treated. The largest is about 3/8th inch long and 1/16th inch wide and very light.
Colors in the cross-stitch are dark green plus lighter shades of green, baby blue, salmon, dark rose, purple, orange, marigold, and teal. The birds are primarily brick red.
The runner is 15 by 42 inches.
