Vintage (1938) - Boudoir Glass Table Lamp

Hello.....A few years back......my Mom told me the story of this little lamp. After my parents were married in 1938.....they received the lamp for their first home.
Measuring the glass lamp to the top of the light socket (without a light bulb), it measures 11" tall. Measuring the lamp across the base, it measures 5".
Looking closely at the pictures.....you will see the lamp has a decorative design....including flowers.
Again, looking closely at the photo of the electrical cord (which is rayon silk covered).....you will notice that it is fraying, and has been mended with tape. :o( Of course, it will need a new, replacement cord.
I do not see any chips or cracks on my parent's lamp. And, before I forget.....the lampshade is not included with this lamp. My Mom had the lamp packed carefully away....and there was no lampshade with it.

The lamp weighs close to 2 lbs (without a box and packaging). If there should be a buyer for this lamp, I will wrap it very carefully, so that it will arrive to a buyer safely.....so mailing will be $14.00.
