A wooden cover meant to be used with the 27-inch Apple iMac (2010). The price is $800 plus shipping and handling ( a lower price is available for the 21-inch iMac please inquire with me), tentatively as described below. Further requests by customer may take project into a higher level but this is the baseline figure.
NOTE: this is a custom item, made by hand; it needs a period of time to be manufactured. Please look at section titled: "Handling Time and Available Shipping" below.
NOTE: This specific post is for iCog Parnassus™ V.2.27B for the 27-inch iMac® (2009-2010-2011)!! It will not fit the current versions (2012) or other versions of the iMac prior to 2009; however feel free to contact me as I can change this.

Dear ladies and gentlemen:
The iCogParnassus™ Steampunk wooden case for the Apple iMac is a project that I had discarded some years ago when I realised that demand for tablets was going to overtake demand for desktop computers.
Just when I thought that the Parnassus was dead, two customers of mine asked for a wooden cover meant to be used on the aluminium-body all-in-one computer issued by Apple in 2010/2011. This is at least two generations after the iMac G4 that Parnassus was originally, intended to cover, but just as well, here I had a somewhat humble re-birth for the Parnassus.
Rather than being a full-size body replacement, this cover is essentially just a wooden frame utilising the now well know construction of my iCog and eCog Tablets, and using the Boilerplate metal decorations. Basically just and external decoration, I may use this as a basis for the real Parnassus. Should one of you good ladies and gentlemen seek to Steampunk your drab ultra modern computer please feel free to contact me... The case is hand-rubbed with English Walnut finish, and I used a Victorian-Era inspired red felt to cushion the computer
In this case the project will be taken to the next level, by adding functional instrumentation at the center of the "dashboard" below the LCD screen.
The agreement between the seller, Mr. Dunn and the buyer, will be a variation or combination of one of the following:
1. "Frankenstein" Style: A 3" Plasma disk either battery powered or USB powered depending on the ability to set the disk without incurring deleterious effects on the computer (using proper shielding). Additional instrumentation to taste (Note some plasma disk colours are hard to find, and usually there is a long waiting period to mail order them factory-direct- please inquire).
2. " Gentleman Scientist" Style: Functional instruments in the form of a 3" Victorian style gauges, plus the type of instrumentation used for weather stations (hygrometer, thermometer or functional clock). A combination of instruments such as mechanical, alcohol, or mercury type thermometers may be included, depending on space available. Shown above are a Ftzroy Storm Glass, a Galileo thermometer, a barometer, and a regular thermometer - note some instruments may increse waiting period due to availability.
3. "English Manor" style: The case will include black wrought iron decorations such as iron handles and hinges and a decorative Brass clock will be place in th centre of the dashboard
I ignore if this will lead to a permanent Parnassus computer, but feel free to ask, and perhaps I will have a chance to permanently resuscitate the Parnassus project.
