Hand-crafted Wooden Bowl with Batik Motives (17cm Diameter)

This beautiful handmade batik wood bowl was skillfully created by the artisan to bring out the style of local traditional culture. The batik painting on the bowl was beautifully painted with batik techniques. First of all, the design of the bowl is sketched on the material and the part of wood that do not need to be colored will be covered with wax. Next, the batik dye is brushed on and the wax is removed then the dye is allowed to dry. The process is repeated for each color and the surfaces are then sanded for a fine finish.
