Egyptian Cotton. Egyptian Cotton ( Gossypium barbadense), also known as extra long staple or Sea Island cotton has the longest fibers for spinning into yarn than any other cotton cultivars. When intertwining strands of yarn to make a larger strand, this long-staple cotton has fewer connection points, and therefore a greater percentage of area which results in the silky texture of this cotton. Egyptian Cotton is rare because it grows in only in a few coastal areas.

Care Instructions:Sheets are Machine wash in cold water with similar colors (no bleach), tumble dry on low. It is recommended to add fabric softener and removing the bedding from dryer when they 80-90% dry. Fold them, and use after completely dry for a smooth and softer feeling.
