Description

Apollo 11 Cover signed by Steve Bales. When the Eagle Lunar Module was running low on fuel and Commander Armstrong was trying not to land in a huge boulder field whilst descending to the lunar surface plus LM alarms going off all over the place, Flight director Gene Krantz in mission control asked Steve Bales whether to abort the landing because of the alarms, or continue (what a responsibility!!). Bales knowing his stuff replied 'We're go on that alarm flight'. The rest is history!
