Price per 0.5 oz (15 gr) NN+ [contain EDTA] (white powder) that was enough to clean more than fifteen heavily contaminated coins, or 30-40 are not very much.
EDTA is able to dissolve deposits of metal oxides and carbonates.
IT REMOVES OXIDES FROM METAL SUCH AS COPPER, SILVER, GOLD, IRON, BRONZE AND STEEL.
Package:
★ 0.5 oz (15 gr) NN+ (Package №1)
★ 0.5 oz baking soda (Package №2)
★ Instruction
Steps:
1. Full teaspoon NN+ (Package №1) dissolve in a glass of water [200 ml].
2. Mix the solution well (if not completely soluble in water - do not worry, it can be used).
2. Put a coin(s) in the resulting solution (you can put a few coins).
3. Depending on the pollution coin(s), hold the coin in the solution for 5-15 minutes (modern coins, slightly darkened) and up several hours (the coin find in the ground, where almost nothing is visible).
4. Remove coin from solution, wash off with tap water.
5. Wet the coin and dip it in some baking soda (Package №2) and clean it with an old toothbrush. This will take the tarnish off, and make your coin shiny without scratching it.
6. Wash off with tap water and dab dry with a soft cloth.
Warnings:
Safe and non-toxic.
Don't drink solution.
Keep away from children.
Please test it on less valuable coins, and then on that valuable, thus avoiding damaging the coins.
There is no one 'right' method for cleaning coins. What works for one coin may be an absolute mess for another. The best solution seems to be a combination of methods and experience. Experiment to find the conbinations that work right for you.
