Eco-Friendly Two-Tone Satin Silk Shawl in Green & Yellow
Silk weaving in Malaysia originated from the Malay people of Bugis descent. Legend has it that in eighteenth century when the Dutch colonized Riau island, the people emigrated to Pahang and since then, this state is known for its culturally attractive work of silk weaving througout the Peninsula. Created with intentions to put a smile on our green environment, this silk shawl was tie-dyed with natural dyes made from plants harvested locally.
This exquisitely soft pure silk shawl is the perfect combination of understated luxury and elegance. Suitable for draping over the shoulder or don as a head scarf. This silk shawl compliments bright, dark, or plain outfits harmoniously.
100% made in Malaysia.
Additional care tips:
Keep your shawl out of direct sunlight to preserve the colour from fading.
Hand wash with gentle detergent or fabric softener in cool water.
Avoid twisting or wringing and indoor dry afterwards.
Never spray perfume directly on your silk shawl as it may leave water marks.
Dry-cleanable.
