Original Batik Art Painting on Cotton, 'Dancing Girls' by Dzakaria (45cm x 75cm)

This unique and exclusive batik painting on cotton is delicately hand drawn using the 'canting' and 'tulis' methods, whereby hot wax is flown from the canting's tiny, downward-curving spouts straight onto the cotton cloth decorously then vividly painted by the grand master batik artist, Dzakaria.

Two village girls are practising their dancing routines for the upcoming festive ceremony. Dzakaria captures the serious expressions on the innocent girls as this dance performance is perhaps the most important moments of their life. Using complex batik techniques such as the cracking effects, the grand master artist fluidly drawn this batik painting in realism.

Each painting is personally signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
