Vintage could be antique glass male medical nurse urine bottle/bed panVINTAGE 19TH CENTURY MALE GLASS URINAL BED PANThe urinal is approximately 10 1/2" long by 5" maximum diameter, and about 4.25" tall from top of handle to bottom. This piece weighs about 1 lb 9 oz without packaging. It will be over 2lbs with packaging around 2.7 lbs.THIS IS MADE IN USATHE HISTORY OF BED PANS:Above is a porcelain bedpan and female urinal which would have been used late in the 19th into the 20th century. Very old utensils, before the late nineteenth century, were made of metals such as pewter, brass and some urinals were made of glass. Porcelain, china, and even pottery were used in the late nineteenth century. At some time in the early 20th century, utensils (bedpans, urinals basins and others) were made of enamel and then stainless steel.
