Original red cloth, top edge gilt. 114 pp. plus 4 pp. for Engagements and Notes (unused), plus 3 pp. of publisher's ads using the New York address of Macmillan & Co. Very good copy, spine faded. Three small spots on front board where finish worn off. Some foxing on endpapers. No handwriting. There is a tiny hole on pp. 13-14.
