This Clovis point was obtained in 1963 by a student from Sam Sander's wife after he worked on a dig on the private land for Texas Tech,he became friends with the land owner and received 2 points and a scraper after the dig.Mr.D.B. asked the Mrs.Sanders if she could send him a couple of points,Mr Sanders and wife had become friend,She sent him the 3 pieces so shortly after.
