Hello....This pirae bank is in excellent condition....even though it is approximately 40 years old. I know that it is that old....as it is mine, and I can remember getting it in the early 1970's. I, however, never used it.
The pirate measures 9 1/2" tall....and the treasure chest he is sitting on measures 5" long.
As you can see in the photo, he has a peg leg, and an eye patch. One hand is holding a strand of "pearls" (that you can remove)......and his other hand is on his sword.
There is a slot on the back of the pirate, where you were to drop your coins. On the bottom of the treasure chest....there is a round rubber plug that keeps the money inside (that has never been removed).
If you collect pirate items....or banks, and you do not have one like mine.....I hope you will think about buying it. I am positive that you would be very pleased with it.
