THE CHRISTMAS THAT ALMOST WASN'T ~ U.S. RELEASE POSTER NSS# 66/385 ~ CHILDHOOD PRODUCTIONS ~ 1966

This RARE-SIZE / ORIGINAL RELEASE Poster from the popular Holiday Musical is in Good / Very Good condition. There is some corner, surface and edge wear, staple holes at various parts of the border ; a few light discolorations to the left of Santa, in the white area and four approx. 1/2" wide angled tape residue discolorations measuring from 4 to 8" in length at the right and left top edges, extending partly into the top text. Like most posters of this size, it is printed on extra-heavy glossy poster stock. It has always been ROLLED - never folded. This ORIGINAL RELEASE poster is especially scarce, as it was distributed thru a small distribution company that printed these is much smaller quantities than usual.

The festive, colorful poster features nice CURRIER-AND-IVES-STYLE hand drawings of the films Star and Director ROSSANO BRAZZI as Mr. Prune and co-star ALBERTO RABAGLIATI as SANTA CLAUS with a collage of HOLIDAY IMAGES including a REINDEER , DANCING ELVES and period townspeople gathered at a beaming street lamp. Additional, colorful art images along the bottom show the entire cast in character with fanciful character descriptions: ROSSANO BRAZZI , PAUL TRIPP , LYDIA BRAZZI , ALBERTO RABAGLIATI , MISCHA AUER and SONNY FOX .

Text On The Poster Reads:
