"Vintage Garden" ~ Re-purposed ,Upcycled Candle Holder VG1
This Pink Persian Creations candle holder is crafted from a round ceramic keepsake box, rose frosted sundae dish, floral lampshade candle topper in colors of rose and green with gold glitter texture painted scrollwork handpainted by me with a beaded trim, a rose colored textured glass plate and votive candle holder. Candle and glass beads are not included.
This is a very versatile piece that can be used in a variety of ways. The rose glass plate is unattached, therefore it can be placed below the trinket box with added stones or potpourri with a votive burning in the top of the lampshade topper. For variety and burning larger candles the plate can be placed atop the lampshade to accomodate a larger pillar or glass container candle with or without added decorative glass stones.
The ceramic trinket box can hold....your trinkets of course, as well as matches for easy lighting.
Unlike most repurposed items that are made with vintage glass I use current pieces to transform and redesign them into unique, one of a kind pieces suitable for any decor, that you'll not find elsewhere.
I've been told these are true works or art.
I meticulously "sculpt" them from former pieces that have outlived their use into a morphed recreation for a new life of many more years of enjoyment. However, since the individual pieces have been previously used, they may show slight signs of usage and wear, though I carefully look them over and choose pieces that are in the best possible condition. I construct them so that any signs of wear is artistically camouflaged in various ways. With this particular creation, the lampshade topper had been broken and meticulously repaired, however, the repairs were visible. Since it was such a beautiful piece I couldn't pass it up so had to creatively salvage it...thus the creative use of textured paint! Hopefully, you too will agree this adds to the charm of a repurposed creation.
The silicone adhesive I use can withstand varying degrees of temperature, allowing them to be enjoyed both indoors as well as out. The pieces I enjoy in my garden withstand the extreme temps of midwestern summers and winters. However, since some of my pieces combine lead crystal with cut pressed glass, I cannot predict exactly how they may hold out in real extreme outdoor conditions.
These unique creations will make wonderful shower, wedding, housewarming and hostess gifts.

I pack my pieces very securely to ensure their safe arrival. Please note pieces of unusual shape and size may require additional packing which will add to the price of shipping. All pieces will be sent out either via insured USPS or UPS delivery.
