THIS ITEM:

The record and labels are in excellent, near-mint condition, with virtually no signs of use. The jacket is in excellent condition, with minor corner and circular-wear, light yellowing and a very small "cutout" corner at the bottom left corner.
It's on RCA VICTOR RECORDS / STEREO / CAT# LSO 1147

THE COMPOSER:

JERRY HERMAN has composed many lasting Broadway Musical scores, including Milk and Honey , The Grand Tour , Mack & Mabel , Dear World and La Cage Aux Folles.

THIS PRODUCTION:

After the tremendous success of the Original 1963 CAROL CHANNING production, legendary producer DAVID MERRICK prolonged the show's success with novelty casting (including BETTY GRABLE and PHYLLIS DILLER) before this coup, when he re-cast the entire show with black actors and new staging which re-invigorated the production and gave it a prolonged and equally successful run, basically as a new production.
