NancynJim2010 Store Noritake Handled Tidbit Tray Red M Stamp Gold Trim Orchids click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge This is a beautiful tidbit tray made by Noritake. It has the red Noritake M, Handpainted, Made in Japan stamp on the bottom. This tray is gorgeous, is has an orchid, or blue floral pattern on it, with a shimmering gold trim around the edged and scattered throughout as well. The handle completes the picture perfectly, and also has gold trim around it, as well as on it's flowers. This piece should date into the early 1940's. There are no imperfections, no chips, cracks, or other damage that I can see on it. It measures 9 inches in diameter (widest point to widest point) and the handle extends about 2 inches tall. The bowl is approximately 1 1/2 inches deep. It was probably used to serve candy, or possibly handmade sweets in during special occasions.
