This rare "The Illinois Waltz" sheet music was published by tiny Blue Ribbon Music Co. of Staunton, Illinois, in 1948. The song's writers are Chaw Mank (1902-1985) and Red Thompson (1925-2000). On the cover are Fred Oliver and the Prairie Pioneers, who hosted a popular radio show on WLDS in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Found in storage.

Near mint, unused condition. There were less than 150 of these sheets produced.

This item comes directly from the estate of Charles "Chaw" Mank Jr. (1902-1985), noted songwriter, author, bandleader, record producer, sheet music publisher, psychic, radio personality, silent movie theater organist, world champion pen pal, inveterate collector and Hollywood/music fan club pioneer.
