This lovely coffee or tea mug was made in England by Crown Prince and is bone china. It is decorated with muted burgundy roses, buds and daisies.
The shape is almost straight up and the size leads me to believe this was meant more for an after dinner coffee. It is larger than a demitasse cup but not much. The rim, base and handle are decorated with gold. The mug is 3.5 inches tall.
It is marked Crown Prince Bone China, England with a crown and the number X1949.
Condition is possibly used but without damage or stains. It looks unused.
