Tribulus Terrestris powder

Tribulus Terrestris is commonly referred to as Puncturevine, Caltrop, cathead, yellow vine, or goathead. Native to Southern Europe, Southern Asia, throughout Africa and within Australia, the plant is well known throughout the world and, where it is not native, is often regarded as somewhat of a pest. Despite this, however, it has been used for quite some time throughout western herblore, traditional Chinese medicine, and Ayurvedic practice.

Within these traditional practices, Tribulus Terrestris is widely considered to be useful in treating infertility, erectile dysfunction, and low libido, as has been the case since it was first fully utilized within such medicinal practice. Original studies at first indicated that these improvements were largely due to an increase in testosterone production but recent studies show that Tribulus does not actually affect hormone production at all. Hotly debated, Tribulus is also sometimes used as a sports enhancement supplement, with conflicting studies debating whether it offers any positive result to muscle growth and endurance.
