This spectacular palm was only discovered in the early 1980's but it has become a popular landscape item in tropical regions around the world. It is an attractive, tall, solitary, pinnate palm with a slender grey trunk that can reach 20m high. It has a slender crownshaft and long arching leaves. Native to Australia.
