1950s Vintage Golf Club - BURKE Commander 7-iron - MASHIE NIBLIC
Description: Here's an older golf club, from the 1950s I think, that I hope will be of interest to a collector. It's a BURKE COMMANDER 7-iron, also designated as a MASHIE NIBLIC and marked "CHROMIUM". It has a metal shaft and a metal cap at the top of the grip. I believe it was a ladies' club, but I'm not certain of that.
Length: approx. 37½"
Condition: Well used, I'd have to say. Grip, shaft, and club head are all still tightly joined with no looseness or wobbling of any kind. However, the club head and shaft are quite worn and have numerous scuffs and scratches. There's some light rust on the club head. The grip is generally in good shape but does have a strip of what appears to be electrical tape wrapped around the bottom where the grip meets the shaft.
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
