Wild Garden Mother's Ring...a wildly tangled garden awaits your finger…each element looks as if it has grown into place. A vine tendril here, a leaf there…each ring is totally unique, as no two gardens are the same. Just like no two families are the same. If you want a unique Mother’s Ring, here it is!
SIZE/LENGTH:
The front of this ring is about 3/8 inch “tall” (9.53mm), but the height will vary very slightly from ring to ring, as each one is unique. The ring shank is about 1/8” in width (3mm).
THE MAKING OF THE PIECE:
I fabricate each and every element of this ring, in my home studio, from raw stock and recycled silver. This piece is a freeform piece…so each element is made within the guidelines of the design, but turns out unique each time. I make all of my own stone settings custom for the stone I am setting, for a perfect fit. I etch “shadows” into the band of the ring and oxidize it to bring out that detail and then polish the high spots, so you get a lovely darkness in the crevices and etching and a nice shine overall on the piece. Each of my pieces are tumbled for strength, so you can wear this ring on a daily basis for a lifetime.
* Hand fabricated by Christen Largent. Each piece is hallmarked .925 and signed with my makers mark.
