Pair of vintage US Air Force Staff Sergeant enameled metal rank insignia. These are clutch back pins with butterfly-type backings. Each pin measures about 1-1/8" wide x about 7/8" tall overall. They are like new, unused items, but they may have some minor surface scratches, as they had been removed from the original packaging & were being stored in bulk when we got them . Marked "G-23" (for Ira Green, Inc.) on the back side. According to the Institute of Heraldry's system, Single Letter/Double Digit Number codes were used after 1965 until about 1978.
