1969 First National Bank Staunton Illinois Santa Claus Helicopter Die-Cut Advertsing Paper Ornament
The First National Bank of Staunton, Illinois, issued this colorful paper ornament sometime in the late 1960s as part of their Christmas Club promotion. The maximum amount of FDIC insurance then, as indicated on the back of the ornament, was $20,000 -- making this circa 1969.
First National Bank (FNB) of Staunton, IL, is now defunct, having merged with Associated Bank of Green Bay, Wisconsin, in early 2020.
