Unique, Delightful, and Hard to Find piece of Art Pottery. Really nice decorative collectible piece by itself.

All White with Red Strawberries, small White Flowers and Green Leaves on one side of the front, all made in 3D also, on top of the already 3D Basket Weave textured pattern made on the Body of the mug.

The mug has a Barrel shape and comfortable handle.Bottom of mug has engraved under the crystal clear glazing the following: MARY ANN BAKER

And has the Otagiri Diamond Shape Golden Foil Label in mint condition attached to it reading:HAND CRAFTED OTAGIRI JAPAN

Measures: 3” Mouth Opening, 4 3/4” Widest point including the Handle, 3 1/2” Tall

This mug has never been used, and I would say in Mint condition if it weren’t for a couple of small paint manufacturer’s flaws to the white paint on the upper top edge or lip. At first I thought that it was a paint flake, but looking closer by super enlarging the picture, I could see that is just a spot that the painter missed covering or the paint slipped down at time of being fired in the kiln. Refer to enlarged pic. Please, remember this is an enlarged photo and that I had to force a close-up to try to capture it with the camera. But the flaw is not that big at all, and can be easily retouched or covered with a small dot of clear varnish glaze if so you chose. No chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, hairlines or fleabites that I could find. Clean inside out.
