Creech, Director of the National Arboretum and a member of the Plant Studies delegation. Written in ink on front cover is 'Return to: John L. Creech' and also the rubber stamped name/address of Dr. Creech after he had moved to Hendersonville, NC. Also, laid in is a handwritten letter in Japanese, on the letterhead of the International House of Japan, to a Dr. Koyama. There is a typewritten translation a the bottom of the letter which is about reserving a single room with private bath for Dr. Creech
