Concentrated cleaner removes scale build up, hardness, minerals and other build-up in the boil chamber.
To keep your water distiller working its best, the boiler chamber needs to be cleaned periodically. Over time, you will notice white scale building up inside the boiler, which is made of salts and minerals that have been removed from the water. Clean the chamber before the buildup becomes heavy. Even a small amount of buildup needs the right kind of cleaner such as citric acid.
*Dissolve 1/4 cup of citric acid into 1 gallon of water.
*Drain the boiler chamber of the water distiller.
*Fill the boiler chamber with the citric acid solution.
*Place the chamber in a well-ventilated area or outdoors, and allow it to sit for 24 hours
***(We run our distiller hot for few Hours and it works fantastic. We use 1 table spoon for 1 gallon)
*Pour out the solution and rinse the chamber well with clean water
