Offered is a package of 5 Wintergreen Teaberry plants.. These have been collected today and are very fresh and healthy. Teaberry has many common names - Checkerberry, Boxberry and Mountain Tea. The plants are evergreen with shiny leaves and get pretty bell-shaped flowers in the summer followed by red berries in the fall. They range in height from 3" to 5" high and grow on shallow rhizomes.
Teaberry is a great addition to your terrariums, fairy gardens on in a shade garden - giving you pretty white flowers and bright red berries. In a fairy garden, it looks like a little umbrella plant that your fairy will enjoy lounging under!
Wintergreen Teaberry is a perennial plant and will spread slowly as new plants appear along the rhizome.
