This natural astringent toner works gently to balance skin and fight acne. Alpha hydroxy acids gently exfoliate while fruit acids balance your skin tone. Black Willowbark provides naturally occurring salicylic acid to fight the causes of acne. This astringent does the job without stripping your skin and causing excessively dry or oily skin.

Recommended for oily, acne prone, normal and combination skin. Apply a small amount to a cotton pad and wipe over face after cleansing to close pores, exfoliate, and remove any traces of residue. Follow with moisturizer.

Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) occur naturally in several foods and include citric acid (from citrus fruits), malic acid (apples), tartaric acid (grapes), lactic acid (milk), and glycolic acid (sugarcane). When applied to the skin, fruit acids supplement the skin's natural exfoliation process by loosening and sloughing away the outer layer of dead skin. This product may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun so you should use a sunscreen (which you should be doing already!) and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
