It's not lined, but would be perfect for either work or casual events, depending on what type of shoes/accessories you paired it with. Looks great all year round - pair it with high heeled sandals and a slinky camisole for a summer night out, or pair it with heavy tights, boots and a long sweater coat in the fall/winter.
