Description

Here's another piece from the estate of the lady who loved beautiful things, had excellent taste, and collected avidly. This vintage goldtoned compact is not signed that I've been able to find but is beautifully made. My references, however, attribute this beauty to Schildkraut, which only had a paper tag. It is identical in every way.
The goldtoned frame has some small scratches which you would expect from a vintage piece but overall is still shiny and bright. The top is a stunning accent...it's paved with rows and rows of sparkling rhinestones...all intact and clear!
It measures 2-3/4" x 2-3/8", has a full mirror inside (I've gotten the tiny spots off since I took the pictures!) and a compartment that still has traces of loose powder. There is no puff. The interior is in excellent shape throughout.
