Two vintage cotton tea towels that are totally different but color coordinated to work in the same kitchen.
One is sturdy cotton duck with large brick window pane check. At one end are 3 scarecrows. These look like they've been hand-painted but the towel has been laundered several times and the colors are still strong. The towel has some very faint smudges in the square above the middle scarecrow. This did not come out in the wash. It has a hang tag sewn into one corner.
The second towel is soft cotton woven jacquard in blue and apricot with white and gold accents. This has no problems that I can detect but has been laundered. It has a hang tag at both ends. The side panels of this towel are primarily blue.
