In 1953 Liberia bestowed the Star of Africa to Mr. Tolson. This book is accompanied with a letter from the President of Langston University, OK who sent this signed copy to the Honorable Barbour Cox Oklahoma House of Representatives on April 20, 1965. Appears to be 1st edition. No indication thereof.CONDITION: VG. Dust Jacket has a tear by the M. in the upper left hand corner of the front cover. There is another tear above and between the R & L in the upper right hand corner of the front cover. Otherwise book is in very clean and tight condition.The letter browned and brittle around the edges. The main body is fine, but the border is time worn of the top, right side and bottom.
