4 Victorian luncheon napkins white linen fine whitework Madeira embroidery hc3011

Beautiful set of 4 luncheon sized white linen napkins from the Victorian era. They are expertly hand embroidered in white work Madeira with eyelets in the corner motif. The scalloped edges are satin stitch embroidery. They are 12 x 12 inches and immaculately clean. Condition is great for 100+ year fine old used linens.

The photos are not great. The color is ivory and that may be their natural color or aged. I have not laundered these. They are not as dark they appear on my screen.
