Dogg Pound affiliate, Bad Azz, has had a huge underground following for YEARS, but he has never quite hit the commercial success that Snoop Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound members Kurupt and Daz Dillinger have, mainly due to a lack of good promotion on the part of the record labels that have released his CDs. "Executive Decision" is Bad's 3rd solo album since his debut, which dropped back in '98. If you have any Dogg Pound or Snoop albums in your collection, chances are that you will immediately recognize Bad Azz' voice and smooth flows, since he has appeared on many Dogg Pound releases over the years. It's a shame that more people don't really know who Bad Azz is, because he is a very talented artist and the amount of respect that he gets from other well-known artists in the game shows that. Many people think that Bad's second studio album, "Personal Business", which came out on Snoop's Doggystyle Records is his best work, but "Executive Decision" is a very solid release with great production from some of the best West Coast producers in the game, such as Fredwreck and Jellyroll, and guest appearances from a number of highly acclaimed MCs. If you are a fan of Bad Azz, or just West Coast gangsta rap in general, you should definitely pick up a copy of "Executive Decision", you won't regret it.
