Hello! This sleek coat was tough to photograph and the photos don't do it full justice. For one thing, it's made of amazing fabric! - very high quality handwoven pure virgin wool Irish tweed in blue, red and white flecks on a black background.
The lining is black rayon satin.
The coat fastens with 4 large carved buttons. There's an elastic loop and a small button at the collar. Two deep open pockets, rounded back gathered yoke, rounded 6" wide back collar.
The wide genuine fox fur collar is attached only at the sides so could be removed, revealing the classic 1950s rounded collar below. The upper back is gathered beneath the collar.
Fantastic condition, showing no wear!
Labelled "Fashioned by Milgrom Lewis" and "Handwoven Irish Tweed". It will fit up to a modern size 8. Measures:
Chest, waist & hips: 46"
Length, top mid shoulder to bottom: 39 1/2"
Sleeves: 23 1/2"
Back shoulders: 14 1/2"
